Ozge Tektas

I was born in Istanbul, in 1992. I was interested in painting and ballet in my childhood. I graduated from Politecnico di Milano as an architect in 2015. One of my design works was exhibited in Milano Design Week and Venice Biennial in 2014. Later, I attended graduate program at Barcelona IAAC, Design and Innovative Fabrication department. During my master's degree, I had the opportunity to discover biological materials and started making bioplastic sourcing myself. One of my bio sculpture works was exhibited as a finalist in the Spirit of the Steppe Open Air Competition. Nowadays, while exploring the field of bioart and working in this field, I also paint on acrylic and canvas and continue my architectural career.
