ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gulcan Sarioglu was born in Karsiyaka / Izmir. She completed her primary and high school in Karsiyaka, and graduated from Ege University Chemistry Department in Izmir, in 1985. Artist started to painting at Izmir State Art and Sculpture Museum and continued her texture and oil paint workings. She met the abstract painting at artist Feriha Tuğran’s atelier in 1996 and now maintains the oil painting works at her own atelier. Her works are part of domestic and international private collections.
