ABOUT THE ARTIST
Esra Efecinar was born in Samsun, in 1960. After completing her primary education at various cities, she moved to Ankara. During her whole education life, art of painting was always with her. She graduated from Eskisehir Anadolu University, Department of Philosophy. After retirement, she focused on painting practices.
In 2005, she worked with Marhan Batuk on designs, Monochrome and oil paintings. In 2012, she attended V. International Guzelyurt / Ihlara Art Academy workshop that was held at Aksaray University. Two of her paintings are exhibited at the art collection of the university. In 2008 and 2010, she held two solo exhibitions at Hacettepe University along with another solo exhibition held at Neva Art Gallery. Some works of Efecinar are permanently exhibited at Hacettepe University Art Gallery. In 2017, she held another solo exhibition at Galeri N. Efecinar attended by Ankara Bar workshop, Dalaman International Painting workshop, Elazig Governorship workshop and 5. Afrodisyas Art Workshop besides of many other national and international workshops.
Esra Efecinar attended two group exhibitions organized by "Cuore Di Donna - Progetto / Evento Itinerante" and also participated in more than 50 other group exhibitions. Artist continues to practice art at her own atelier.
