ABOUT THE ARTIST
Aysegul Kivrik was born in Arvin, in 1967 but considers herself as from İstanbul. She graduated from Mechanical Engineering but worked in textile industry as Planning Manager for several years. Her dream was to practice the art of painting and to make her dreams come true, she moved to Antalya in 2005. At beginning, painting was just a hobby for her but after she started her undergraduate education at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fine Arts, painting has become a significant part of her life.
Her sun is the most important thing her life. Philosophy is her special field of interest along with her intimacy to literature, Jazz music, sun and sea. Kivrik believes that the art painting is an illusion just as the life itself. Artist took lessons of ceramic sculpting and print painting, she continues to practice her art in Antalya.
